As the weather cooled, she moved her bed from one side of her pen to the other (from warmer to cooler, IMHO ... but what the pig says, goes!) ... she carried blankets, moved hay, and set up housekeeping against the big door that (in the summer) opens out into her yard. I suspect she did it bec of the heat lamp hung above ... tho to my eye the two sites are not that different.
I am building a "roof" for her former sleeping area, to provide a box that she can fill with hay & blankets (should she decide to) and help contain her body heat. I plan to put carpet flaps on the front to help keep it cozy. Will post pics when it's done (hopefully this w/e). However, I am prepared that "if I build it, they will NOT come" and she may never actually USE it! (Much like her nice big yard!)
