Sharing some Condolence Messages

Pig People are great ... We've all "been there" having to make a difficult decision about an animal's future ... so everyone is so supportive and caring when another loses an animal.

Here are a few of the kind messages that I received about Daisy's death - I wanted to save them and share them (with names removed for privacy) so that maybe they can help someone else in the same situation - Thanks everyone!

Awww, Allison, I'm so sorry. You tried so hard and she knew it. She was loved and that's what she knows.

Run free, sweet Daisy.

I am sure she was very loved, and knew it.

I am so sorry about Daisy. She had a good life with you even though short, she knew she was loved and that’s the best we can hope for sometimes. Some of our rescues are with us a long time and sometimes way too short. Take care.

Allison, I'm so sorry to hear this. It sounds like she had the best life possible with you and was loved and taken care of. Let us know what the necropsy shows.

We are so sorry to hear about your dear Daisy. There aren't words that really help diminish the pain and loss in a situation like this...but please know you are near in our hearts as you cope with Daisy's passing, and that we are here for you, both off list and on list. My heart goes out to you, and to dear Daisy. She is no longer suffering. Sympathy and big hugs,

Allison, I am so sorry for your loss. What you did was an act of kindness that I know was extremely hard. Daisy is at peace and no more pain or suffering for her. Hugs.

We will keep Daisy and you in our thoughts.

Allison, Prayers for you and Daisy. It was good to see you and Daisy trying so hard to overcome her "food abuse". She was a lucky girl to have had you in her life. Hugs.

I am so very sorry to hear this...you gave her a great, loving home

Oh Allison I am so sad for your broken heart but so happy that Daisy was able to be loved and cared for by you, so many pigs die unloved. You gave her that and that is all she would have ever asked for. (HUGS)

Allison, I'm sorry to hear of Daisy's passing. You did all you could and that's all anyone can ask. She was fortunate to have come into your life for the time she did and I'm sure she would say the same if she could.

I'm so sorry to hear about Daisy, Allison, this must be very painful. But at least she was with you and being cared for properly, and had quality oflife and knew she was loved.

Allison, you know my heart goes out to you. She had a quality of life, like she had never know before, in the time she lived with you. Take care, and keep us posted.

I'm so sorry dear Daisy is gone. You were so good for her. You gave her love and great care. She was lucky to have you.

Oh A, we are so sorry, you worked so hard, and you did give that poor pig some joy love, and quality in life. She is an angel now! Please let us know what the necropsy sez. Being that overweight must have compromised her....((((((((HUGS))))))))

How very sad Allison! I am extremely sorry for your loss. You did great with Daisy and made a huge impact on her life. Even though you did not meet your goal with her, you changed her life and did make a difference for her. She was lucky to have you.

Allison, So sorry for your loss.....She was a lucky gal to have you in her life. Later.

Our hearts go out to you. Hopfully the necropsy will shed some light on what happened to her.
