Pot Belly Pig farm puts out All Pigs Bulletin on Mirabelle

Mirabelle the pot-bellied pig had it pretty good. She had a spot at a cushy pot-bellied pig farm in Warwick Township, Bucks County, was in heat, and had a stable full of "intact male" suitors standing by just dying to win her affections. Then on Friday, she went outside, as usual, for her morning stroll and never came back.
"Very unpiglike," said her owner Susan Magidson, a regional authority on the pigs.
Magidson suspects foul play. The owners of Ross Mill Farm in the township's rural Rushland village section, have offered a $500 reward for safe return of the 11-month old, 26-pound black and white pig, no questions asked.
Wandering off "is not in their nature," Magidson said. "Out of all these years, I have only had one female wander off, and that was before I had a boar."
Township Police Chief Joseph Costello said he has no evidence Mirabelle was stolen, and his department is treating Mirabelle's disappearance the same way it would treat reports of a missing dog or cat.
Anyone who has seen the missing pig can call Ross Mill Farm at (215) 322-1539.
