Finally finished Loki's new pen today .... previously he had been sharing with a pair of geese (who constantly muck up the water bucket!) in the pen I use to gather the goats for shearing etc. With spring (almost) here, and shearing looming at the end of the month, I needed to free up the handling pen for that. Plus Loki needed his own pad!
It measures 10'x5' or so, with solid plank walls and mesh door (so the boy can see out). Once the snow melts, he will spend his days out in the grassed yard in front of the barn.
Oh - and Monday I am finally calling to schedule his neuter - now that the vaccines are in and he has a nice place to "recover" from the ordeal.
He seems to like the pen - after spilling his water bucket all over and rooting the bedding into a pile to fashion a bed.
