Willie is Enjoying the Spring Weather!

My old fellow, Willie, is enjoying the warmer weather. I have been concerned about both his urinary health and his arthritis ... but the sunny days seem to have perked him up. Plus, I suspect that the ammonium chloride he has been on for a few months now is starting to have some effect - his urine stream seems stronger, for sure! And he's no longer hunching when he pees. YAY!

I leave him access to the yard overnight (tho he sleeps in the barn) as he likes to amble out earlier in the am than I get out there. He'll dine al fresco, then bask for a while. Then, if it's too hot, he'll go back in the barn for the afternoon (which is when I let Loki into the same yard for his exercise). Finally, depending on the day, I will switch them again, or not.
